Funeral Team:

The Funeral team was set up to assist the parish and support the families during the funeral service in the church.

We have 12 members who work on a rota basis to offer this support.

They attend the evening reception and funeral Mass for the deceased and are available, if needed, to officiate at the Crematorium or Cemetery.

Ministers of Holy Communion

Ministers of the Eucharist are appointed to help with the distribution of Holy Communion at Mass.

Ministers also bring Holy Communion to the sick, elderly or housebound in their homes.

They have an evening of prayer, reflection in Notre Dame once a month.

Ministers of the Word:

Ministers of the Word proclaim the Word of God at Mass on Sundays and weekdays.

They take turns on a rota-basis which generally involves once a month commitment. New Readers would be very welcome.

Morning Prayer Group:

Parishioners who gather together before the weekday morning Mass at 10.00am, to begin their day with Morning prayer of the Church.

Sacristans:

These seven people are a vital part of our community.

Their ministry requires commitment and dedication.

They are the backbone of the day to day running of all services, masses, funerals, baptisms etc.
